The worst performers of the session were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:), which fell 9.91% or 2.02 points to trade at 18.36 at the close. Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:) declined 4.19% or 3.27 points to end at 74.80 and Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:) was down 3.83% or 0.85 points to 21.36.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 131 to 51 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $57.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.13% or 0.08 to hit $63.23 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 0.80 to trade at $1257.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.17% to 4.4080, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7494.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 93.46.
